Match Recap: Women's Tennis |

No. 6 Buccaneers Shut Out No. 11 Seahawks

Women's tennis team still flawless in singles, doubles

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- The bell on the clock across Barry University's quaint little campus started to toll. Mara Cerrini's match was wearing on. At one point in the second game she and her Keiser opponent rallied back and forth for roughly 14 minutes. That was just one game.

But after darkness set in, and Cerrini kept fighting, the No. 6-ranked Buccaneers women's tennis team remained perfect. Barry beat NAIA 11th-ranked Keiser, 9-0, Monday to polish off its third win in as many days at Buccaneer Tennis Center. In the process, the Bucs remained perfect in every singles and doubles match this season.

All it took was a little fight in Barry's freshman from Sunny Isles to keep the streak in tact.
