MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry's baseball team lost 10-6 in game two of the three-game series this weekend against Pfeiffer University.

SUMMARY:
- T1: John Elwood got the Falcons on the board early, scoring from third on a throwing error attempt to first.
- B1: Alffredi Ramos knocked in Julian Abreu from third with a single that got by the second basemen. Reuben Pino gained the lead for the Bucs by knocking in Ramos and Ryan Baldwin with a single to make it 3-1 Bucs.
- B2: Alexis Monge-Rodriguez grounded into a double play, but was able to score Andrew Puglielli from third.
- T5: The Falcons took the lead in the top of the fifth after knocking in seven runs to make it 8-4 Pfeiffer. Mathis had a big double to drive in two of those runs.
- B5: The Bucs answered with two more runs in the bottom of the fifth, but it wouldn't be enough to catch the Falcons. Abreu scored after Pino was hit by a pitch with bases loaded. Baldwin scored next to trim the lead to two runs after a wild pitch by the Falcon pitcher, to make it 8-6.
- T8: The Falcons added two more runs in the eighth to seal the win for game two of the series with a final score of 10-6.
NOTEWORTHY:
- Eli Blake (1-0) took the win for the Falcons, giving up no hits or runs in 1.2 innings pitched.
- Jonathan Hernandez (0-1) took the loss for the Bucs, giving up eight runs in four innings.
- Drew Wilson grabbed the save for the three innings he threw for the Falcons.
