Williams clutch in crunch time as Bucs win in Boca

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Arie Williams had ice water in his veins, and Barry held its poise in crunch time as the Buccaneers survived a test at Lynn Wednesday night.

Williams hit two huge three-pointers late in the game, and sank four free throws in the final 12 seconds as the seventh-ranked Bucs ran its win streak to 12 straight in the de Hoernle Center. But this one came with a lot of tension, and required late-game poise to pull it out.

The Buccaneers trailed by as many as seven in the second half, and endured eight ties and seven lead changes to beat the Fighting Knights for the fourth straight time. Barry has won its past 12 in Boca Raton, including neutral site opponents during Lynn's holiday tournament.
