ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – Barry fell to the 15th-ranked Eckerd Tritons on Saturday, 71-48, despite solid efforts from its shorthanded team in the McArthur Center.

SUMMARY:
- 1Q - The Bucs shot 41.7 percent in the opening quarter, aided by Kiara Palmer's six points. Eckerd raced out to a 10-point lead behind 57.1 percent field goal shooting.
- 2Q - Barry was outscored 22-9 in the second quarter. Eckerd finished the first half, shooting 54.5 percent. Palmer had 10 points for the Bucs at the break.
- 3Q - Barry cut down the Tritons' production to start the second half, but trailed 57-28. At that point, the Bucs had nearly matched Eckerd in bench production. Barry had 20 bench points to Eckerd's 23.
- 4Q - Barry outscored Eckerd, 20-14, in the fourth quarter. The Bucs did a better job on the glass in the second half, and nearly won the battle on the boards. Eckerd out-rebounded Barry, 34-31.
