MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry baseball got back to winning ways Tuesday night as it defeated Chestnut Hill 10-2.
The Buccaneers got off to a big start in the bottom of the 1
st when
Ryan Baldwin homered into left center and brought
Alexander DeGoti and
Khalil Denson home with him.
The Bucs would add six more runs in the 2
nd with DeGoti, Baldwin both hitting RBI singles and
Frank Gonzalez flying out to right field and bringing Baldwin to home plate.
Khalil Denson would hit a RBI single up the middle in the 3
rd to make it 10-0.
In the 6
th, Chestnut Hill hit two RBI singles to make it 10-2.

Jonathan Hernandez got his fourth win of the year in a three strikeout, 5.0 IP effort. CHC starter Justin Harnett went to 0-2 on the season in 1.1 IP.
Bucs pitcher RHP
Blaine Duncan made his first appearance since 2014 tonight, pitching 1.2 innings and striking out two.
The Bucs improve to 10-6 on the year while Chestnut Hill stands at 1-4.
The series concludes tomorrow as the two teams face off again at 6 PM.Â
