Men's Soccer Hosts #22 Panthers

This is a must-win for the Bucs

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry University's men's soccer team hosts the #22-ranked Panthers Tuesday night, to continue conference play.

The Panthers (8-3-1, 5-3-0 SSC) are currently in third place in the conference standings with 15 points. They are just one point behind Palm Beach Atlantic (16), and four points behind first-place Lynn (19).

The Panthers are led by Adin Kavara, who leads the league in shots with 47, averaging 3.92 shots a game. Kavara is also sixth in the league with eight goals. Christian Moerch, who will be in goal for the Panthers, has the third best save percentage in the conference at .729 percent.

The Bucs (8-4-0, 2-4-0 SSC) sit in ninth place in the conference standings. Therefore, this match is a must-win if they want to have any chance of contending for the title in the conference tournament. The Bucs look to add a few more goals to the 20 goal margin they have over the visiting Panthers, who only have 20 goals this season thus far.

Barry's offense is led by Thomas Coombes and Hanno Antoni, who are second and fourth in the conference with goals this season. The Bucs are the only team in the conference to have two players from the same team be in the top five for goals this season. Frank Lustig leads the league with his .636 assists per-game average.

The match is set to go off at 6 pm at Buccaneer Field. If you are unable to attend, but want to keep up with the action, follow the links below.
