Box ScoreSATELLITE BEACH, Fla. -- Barry University men's tennis team made it through the first half of the conference season unscathed after beating Florida Tech, 8-1, Sunday to complete a perfect weekend.
The No. 3 Buccaneers (12-0, 3-0 Sunshine State Conference) won their third match of the weekend, and now will return home for four matches this week, beginning 3 p.m. Tuesday versus NCAA Division I Nebraska-Omaha. Florida Tech fell to 12-5, 1-1.

Fabian Groetsch were 8-3 winners over Beau Fieldsend and Mattias Hartmann, the sixth-ranked doubles pair in the South Region, at the No. 1 spot.
Renato Lombardi and
Fabian Pronnet defeated Aria Canadell and Daniel Armellino, 8-3, at No. 2 pairs.
Franco Echenique and
Dominik Haider blanked Riley Lorenz and Ricardo Corona, 8-0, to complete the doubles sweep.Â
Pronnet beat Fieldsend, 6-3, 6-1, at No. 1 singles. Haider defeated Hartmann, 6-2, 6-4, at No. 2. Lombardi pulled out a three-set victory over Patrick Hernandez, 6-4, 3-6, 6-3, at No. 3. Echenique defeated Canadell, 2-6, 6-4, 11-9, at No. 4. Corona beat Barry's
