WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Barry women's basketball fell Saturday afternoon to Palm Beach Atlantic, 71-43.
The Buccaneers had a tough day shooting, going just 29% from the field.
Irene Sanchez led the team with 13 points and eight rebounds.
Jackie Perez led the Bucs with five rebounds.
Ines Kerin led the team with two 3-pointers.
The game remained competitive for three periods but Barry could not keep up in the fourth, being outscored 22-3 as the Sailfish would pull away to win the game.
The Bucs now stand at 5-3 on the year, while PBA improves to 2-6 on the year.
Up next for Barry is a trip to Saint Leo in a Sunshine State Conference matchup next Saturday with tip-off slating at 2 PM.
