MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- Barry men's soccer returns to the field Saturday night looking to continue their drive towards a conference title when it faces Sunshine State Conference opponent, Rollins.
The Buccaneers come into the game looking to right the ship after dealing with their defeat of the season Wednesday night, falling to Eckerd, 2-1.
To get back to winning ways, the Bucs will have to deal with a Tars team that comes in 4-6-0 on the year and 2-3 in the SSC.
Threats on the Rollins roster include three players fighting for the team lead in goals with Grant Blackhurst, Tosan Popo and Brett Durrance all having four goals on the year. Popo also leads the team with assists with nine.
Also a threat is Matt Volk, who has three goals this season.
In the net for the Tars this season has been three different goalkeepers with Julian Grundler leading the team with eight games played and started with 36 saves.
A win for the Bucs would keep them in the thick of the SSC title race, the game is the slated to kickoff at 7 PM.
