MIAMI SHORES, Fla. -- With just a few games left in the 2015 regular season, Barry men's soccer faces a crucial match as they take on local rival and Sunshine State Conference foe, Nova Southeastern, in Davie.
The Buccaneers come into tonight's game 6-3-2 on the year and 1-3-1 in the SSC, meaning a win is vital to keeping their hopes of a spot in the SSC tournament alive.
To get the win, the Bucs will count on prolific goal scorers
Patrick Drmola (7),
Thomas Coombes (6) and
Manuel Perez (6), to get the team going in front of the net.
Also, goalkeeper
Bo Haug will be looked to add to his 34 saves if called upon.
The Bucs will be facing a Sharks team that stands at 5-7-0 on the year and 1-5-0 in the conference.
Standouts for NSU are forwards Stefano Fanfoni and Nate Bladecki, leading scorers for the Sharks with three goals each. Midfielder Filippo Mancini is also a threat, leading the Sharks in assists with three.
