WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. -- Barry University's volleyball team lost 25-18, 25-15, 25-9, Tuesday at No. 17 Palm Beach Atlantic.
The Buccaneers (8-7) hit .093, whille the Sailfish (16-3) found the floor at a .325 clip. 
Barry got off to a hot start in the first set, taking a 10-5 lead on 
Eva Raat's kill. But the Sailfish rattled off an 8-2 run to take the lead. Raat's kill pulled the Bucs within 18-14, but PBA controlled the rest of the set to take a 1-0 lead.
The Bucs hit .093 in the second set, converting 40 percent of its sideout opportunities, and the Sailfish banged down 14 of 39 balls while converting 66 percent of its sideouts to get out to an 11-3 lead the Bucs could not recover from. Barry fought for respectability late in the set, drawing within eight, 23-15, following a 4-0 run that was highlighted by two kills by Raat and a pair of PBA errors by Emma Ballantyne and Ally Rohn. But the lead was too large to overcome, and the Sailfish took a 2-0 lead into intermission.
PBA made quick work of the third set, hitting .481 with just one attack error, while capitalizing on eight of 10 sideout opportunities. Barry managed just six kills and seven errors in the set.
Raat had nine kills, 
Ivana Didanovic eight, and 
Jenny Trinidad 16 assists and 13 digs. 
Brittany Jaco had 18 digs, and 
Kat Espinosa 10 digs. Faith Rohn had 13 kills, and Ally Rohn seven kills and 13 digs for PBA.
Barry will host No. 15 Florida Southern 7 p.m. Friday.
