Box Score DAVIE, Fla.—Barry University fell 56-51 to the Albany (Ga.) State Lady Rams on Saturday at the NSU University Center in the Nova Southeastern Sharks Holiday Classic.
The Bucs (7-3) led 26-25 at the half, but the Rams (1-6) opened the second half with an 8-2 run to take a five-point advantage. They stretched the lead to as many as 12 points and the Buccaneers never got closer than three points the rest of the way.
Artisha Holston had 10 points and 10 rebounds to pace the Rams. Keidra Green chipped in 13 points. Amra Elezovic had 19 points for the Buccaneers, but was the only player to score in double figures.
The Bucs are off for the holiday break until Dec. 31 when they face Cornerstone in West Palm Beach, Fla., at noon.
