MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Head coach Allison Bustamante added one more post player in sophomore transfer Jovana Nikolic.

"Jovana's versatility and competitive nature give her the ability to impact the game in a variety of ways on both ends of the floor," Bustamante said. "We believe she has tremendous untapped potential, and we're excited to help her continue to grow while playing an important role in what we're building at Barry."

Nikolic started out at Xavier in Ohio as a red-shirt before transferring to Lindenwood where she played in nine games for the Lions as they went 25-8. Playing in the club system in Serbia, she posted 14.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, 4.0 blocks and 2.0 steals per game with ZKK Vizura in 2023-24. She led ZKK Korac Akademija to an 18-0 record and division championship in the Cadet League Third Division in 2022-23, averaging 17 points and eight rebounds. She also represented Serbia on the U18 National Team.

"I chose Barry because from the very beginning of my transfer process, the coaching staff made me feel welcomed and believed in me as both a player and a person," Nikolic said. "Their vision for the program and the culture they're building really stood out to me. I felt like Barry was the best place for me to continue growing, compete at a high level, and be a part of something special. I'm very excited to get on campus, meet my teammates, and get to work."

The Bucs are looking to get back to the Sunshine State Conference Tournament in 2026-27.
