MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry University women's tennis team toppled another top-10 opponent with a 8-1 win over California University Pennsylvania on Sunday morning. 
   
  The Bucs started the day with three points in doubles. The fourth-ranked team of 
Barbi Pocza and 
Angie Werschel downed Anabel Pieschl and Jade Pondicas 8-3. In the second flight, 
Laura Boguet and 
Alex Gwizdowski beat Anastassiya Zherdeva and Axelle Fernandez 8-1. 
Julie Stas and 
Olivia Matuszak kept the Bucs perfect in doubles with an 8-1 win over Franziska Steinhardt and Lauria Navarro.
    
  In singles action, the Bucs took five points, dropping only one match where Matuszak fell 0-6, 6-3, 10-1 to Pondicas.
   
  In the top flight, #23 Werschel beat Pieschl 6-1, 7-5. At number two, #38 
Caroline Wendling beat Steinhardt 6-1, 6-0. 
    
  In the lower flights, Gwizdowski defeated Zherdeva 6-1, 6-0. Playing in the fifth flight, Boguet downed Fernandez 6-2, 6-1. Stas beat Navarro 6-2, 6-0 to wrap it up for Barry.
   
  With the win, the Bucs remain a perfect 9-0 on the year. The women return to action on Tuesday when DI-Toledo visits Miami Shores for a mid-week match.
