MIAMI SHORES, Fla.— The Barry University women's tennis team had no issues taming the Saint Leo Lions on Sunday afternoon. The Bucs easily won 9-0 to stay perfect for the year.
Playing with an unfamiliar lineup, the Bucs had no problems in singles action, winning all six matches while only giving away 12 games.
AT the top flight, Matuszak took a 6-2, 6-1 win over Laan.
Mona Mansour downed McDonald 6-1, 6-0 at No. 2 singles.
Laura Boguet beat Kemkes 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3.
In the lower flights, Gwizdowski defeated Hidass 6-3, 6-1.
Akemi Maehama beat Daszkiewicz 6-1, 6-0, and
Lizbeth Vargas blanked Samantha White 6-0, 6-0 in only her third match of the season.
The Bucs return to action on Saturday, March 26 when they host Eckerd for a conference matchup.
