WINTER PARK, Fla.— The Barry University women’s tennis dropped a tough match to Rollins on Friday evening, losing 6-3.
In doubles action, the Bucs earned one point in the number three position where Berit Peterson and Caroline Wendling beat Allie Steele and Stefaniya Tkach 8-4.
In singles competition, the Bucs only earned points in the second and third positions. In singles number two, Wendling beat Holly Fleming 6-4, 6-2 while Yulia Kashelkina took the third spot for the Bucs, beating Tkach 6-1, 7-5.
With the loss, the Bucs end their regular season with a 14-6, 4-3 SSC record. They remain ranked #21 as they head into the SSC tournament on Thursday, April 16 at Lynn.
