MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – On senior day, 
Kim Fujimoto (Sr., Carmichael, Calif.) collected four RBI to lead the Barry University softball team (36-9, 17-4 SSC) to a doubleheader split against the Saint Leo Lions (34-18, 13-8 SSC) in Sunshine State Conference action at Buccaneer Field on Saturday.
 
  After two scoreless inning of play in game one, Barry finally edged out in front with a 3-0 lead in the third inning. 
Amanda Moore (Sr., St. Louis, Mo.) took advantage of a Saint Leo error to score the first run, and Fujimoto followed up with a two-out RBI single for the Buccaneer lead.
 
  Fujimoto hit another RBI single in the fifth to extend the Barry's lead to 4-0. In the sixth inning, the Buccaneers added three more runs that sealed the win. 
Shyla Rider (Fr., Woodbridge, Va.), 
Ashley Loose (Jr., Mill Creek, Wash.), and Fujimoto each collected RBI for the Bucs 7-0 victory.
 
  Amber Jack (Fr., Homestead, Fla.) hurled a two-hit shutout and struck out six to improve to 12-4 on the season. Kiki Von Holt (7-2) gave up seven runs (four earned) on nine hits, walked two and struck out one in the loss. 
    
  In the nightcap, Saint Leo's Monique Dominguez drew a leadoff walk to start the second inning and Staci Sattler provided all the offense the Lions needed with an RBI single to give SLU the 1-0 win. Saint Leo rapped out five hits over seven innings to Barry's one. 
   
  Katie Heintz (24-11) tossed the one-hit shutout and struck out six to earn the win for Saint Leo. Jack (12-5) gave up one run on three hits and struck out three through two innings to suffer the loss for Barry. 
   
  Christina Van Tassel went 2-for-3 at the plate to lead the Lions, while Sattler provided the RBI. Rider managed to break up the no-hitter with her 17th double on the season and set a new Barry single-season record for most doubles in a season.
   
  The Buccaneers will wrap up regular season play with another three-game SSC series against the third-ranked Florida Southern Moccasins in Lakeland, Fla., next weekend. The first game is scheduled for Friday, Apr. 28 at 7 pm with the doubleheader on Sunday, Apr. 30 at 1 pm.
