MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—
Cesar Aranguren homered twice and drove in six runs to lead the Barry Buccaneers (11-6) past the Dowling Lions 16-5 in baseball action at Feinbloom Field on Monday night.
Kevin Reese led the Lions (1-3) with four hits and scored twice.
Ray Rhoads (4-0) picked up his team-leading fourth win. He allowed two runs on eight hits and struck out a career-high 12 in six innings of work.
Alden Schroeder (0-1) took the loss for Dowling. He surrendered 10 runs (nine earned) on 10 hits and three walks.
The Bucs's homestand continues on Tuesday, Mar. 7 at 6:00 pm against the Lewis Flyers.
