MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers (5-4) grounded the Mercy Flyers 11-1 in baseball action from Feinbloom Field on Tuesday night.
Mike Davila (1-1) worked five innings, allowing just an unearned run on three hits and two walks, while striking out six. Four Buccaneer relievers combined to hold the Flyers to just two hits over the last four innings. Tony Barcelo (0-1) took the loss for Mercy, surrendering eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits and two walks. He struck out two.
The teams close out their two-game set on Wednesday, Feb. 22 at 3:00 pm at Feinbloom Field.
