MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers (3-1) rebounded from a loss earlier in the day to defeat the Lynn Knights 6-4 in baseball action at Feinbloom Field on Saturday.
Mike Tomoleoni (2-0) earned a win in his first college start, tossing six innings and allowing three runs (one earned) on just two hits and four walks, while striking out seven.
Fausto Faraldo and
Ricky Sanchez smashed back-to-back homers in a three run sixth inning to snap a 3-3 tie and propel the Bucs to the win. Faraldo drove in two runs, as did
Alex Meneses who had two hits along with
Danny Aguiar to led the Bucs.
Travis Rios (0-1) took the loss for the Knights (1-2), allowing all six runs (five earned) in five innings on six hits and two walks with six strikeouts.
The Bucs host Mars Hill College at 11:00 am on Sunday.
The Bucs lost the first game of the day 6-0 to Tusculum.
