MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers (9-5) grounded the Mercy Flyers 9-2 at Feinbloom Field in baseball action Tuesday night.
Fauston Faraldo went two-for three with two doubles and three RBI to pace the Bucs' attack.
Nick Corbeil connected for his first homer of the season and drove in two.
Mike Davila (1-0) earned the win with four shutout innings, allowing just two singles and striking out five. Brad Lozano (0-1) took the loss for the Flyers (0-2), pitching two innings and allowing two runs (one earned) on two hits and three walks with two strikeouts.
The Bucs and Flyers will face off again on Friday at 6:00 pm.
