MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers shut out the Florida Gulf Coast Eagles 8-0 in baseball action at Feinbloom Field Tuesday night.

Mike Tomoleoni (3-0) pitched six shutout innings, allowing three hits and a walk, striking out eight. Les Hassen (0-2) took the loss for the Eagles, allowing six runs (five earned) in 2.2 innings, on nine hits with one strikeout.

For the Bucs, Ricky Sanchez went three-for-five with two doubles and two RBI, while Nick Corbeil added a three-for-three night with a double and scored two runs.

Jason Louwsma had a double to lead the Eagles, who only had two singles to go along with it.

The Bucs travel to St. Leo, Fla., this weekend for the Bob Tewksbury Classic, facing Lynn, Eckerd and the host Lions in non-conference matchups.
