Box Score CARSON, Calif. -- The Barry Buccaneers dropped a 5-1 decision to the Chico State Wildcats in the opening round of the Far West Classic at the Home Depot Center on the campus of Cal State Dominguez Hills.

Mike Lupton got Barry (0-1-0) out front 1-0 with a goal 3:30 minutes into the game, with assists from Avi Scabini and Ricardo Raposo.

But it was all Chico State (1-0-0) the rest of the way as the Wildcats roared back with five unanswered goals. Chris Wondolowski scored twice and assisted Brian Phillips on the game-winner at the 42:51 mark.

Dominic Jakubek picked up the win for the Wildcats, making five saves. Ido Langer took the loss in goal for the Bucs, making four saves.

The Bucs conclude play in the Classic on Monday at noon against the host Toros.
