Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry Buccaneers trounced the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors 55-46 at the Health & Sports Center Saturday afternoon in women's basketball.

The game was closer than even the score would indicate, but the Bucs were able to capitalize on two long scoring droughts by the Warriors.

The Warriors (6-4) grabbed a 20-18 lead with 5:43 left in the first period. But Barry (6-7) responded with a 10-2 run to close the half and go into intermission with a 28-22 lead.

In the second half, the Warriors again surged in front, leading 44-43 with 7:04 remaining. But they went cold again and Barry bounced with a 10-0 run over the next six minutes to go up 53-44.

Barry's Amra Alagic led all scorers with 22 points and Bridget Bradshaw added her first career double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Carrie Comp and Julie Christiansen each had 14 points for the Warriors.

The Bucs open Sunshine State Conference play on Wednesday, Jan. 8 at 5:30 pm hosting the Lynn Knights.
