Box Score MEMPHIS, Tenn. -- After a 1:10 delay for inclement weather, the Barry University men's soccer team saw its 12-game winning streak ended in a 1-1 tie with the Central Arkansas Bears at Signiago Field Sunday afternoon.
In the first half, Central Arkansas struck first registering a goal from Cameron Kersey off a pass from Jason Bell at the 32:22 mark.
However, with time winding down in the second half,
Alen Marcina scored his 52 career goal to tie the game in the 90th minute off a pass from
Kevin Lamy and
Chi Chi Soler sending the game into overtime.
But, with severe weather settling over Memphis, the game was called as a 1-1 tie.
The Bucs are now 5-0-1, while the Bears are 2-1-1. The Bucs will resume action at Buccaneer Field hosting Sunshine State Conference provisional member Nova Southeastern on Sept. 18 at 5 pm.
