Box Score DENVER, Colo.--The Barry women's basketball team fell 74-62 to the Regis University Rangers in the Fieldhouse Saturday night.
The Bucs clung close in the first half and even forged ahead 20-19 at the 7:09 mark on a jumper by Loren Weaver. But the Rangers responded with a 13-5 run to close the frame and go into the intermission up 32-25.
In the second half, the Rangers (4-2) bolted out to a quick double figure lead and never relinquished it.
Amra Alagic and Sanja Zivanovic led the Bucs (3-5) with 14 points each. Regis' Molly Maralln led al scorers with 16 points, while Haley MacNeil added 14 and Julie Jestus had 12.
Barry returns to Miami tomorrow and faces off at Nova Southeastern against the Knights on Friday, Dec. 13 at 5:00 pm.
