Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.—The Barry Buccaneers overcame an early red card to defeat the Palm Beach Atlantic 2-1 at Buccaneer Field Friday night.

Jacobi Goodfellow was sent off in the 31st minute,
Kelvin Lima put the Bucs up 1-0 with one second left in the first half, beating Sailfish keeper Anthony Joseph to the near post as time expired in the period.
The Sailfish knotted the game at 1-1 when Miguel Lemming's chip from 45 yards out, bounced over Buccaneer netminder
Ron Goguen just 33 seconds into the second period.
Palm Beach Atlantic's man advantage was erased in the 74th minute when Jason Plumb was whistled for his second yellow card of the match. The Bucs responded with the game winning goal 12 minutes later.
Marco Velez and
Thiago Vasconcelos pushed the ball up the middle of the field and found
Joey Burg at the top of the box. Burg cut the ball back into the middle and blasted a left-footed shot past Joseph.
Barry keeper Goguen had one save, as the Bucs out-shot the Sailfish 24-7. Joseph made five saves to keep PBAC close.
Barry starts the season 1-0-0, while Palm Beach drops to 0-1-0. The Buccaneers play at cross-town rival St. Thomas on Tuesday, August 28 at 4:00 pm.
