Box Score MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry women's basketball team won its second straight game, lancing the Nova Southeastern Lady Knights 68-48 Thursday night at the Health & Sport Center.
The Bucs raced out to a 36-28 lead at the half and turned up the defensive pressure in the second half to extend the final margin to 20 points. The Lady Knight hit only six of 26 shots from the field in the second half.
Amra Alagic paced the Bucs with 19 points. Carolina Santamarina added 17 points and Jaida Williams chipped in 13 and 11 rebound for her second straight double-double.
No Knight starter hit double figures. Lauren DeLaney had 11 off the bench and Charity Rainey had 10.
The Bucs improve to 3-5, while the Knights fall to 2-8. Barry is off for eight days before returning to action Dec. 15-16 in the Missouri Western Holiday Festival
