Box Score DAVIE, Fla.--The Barry women's basketball team was lanced in the Nova Southeastern Thanksgiving Classic by the host Lady Knights 68-65 Saturday night.

Amra Alagic scored a game-high 23 points and Jaida Williams posted a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds, but is wasn't enough to over the balanced Kinghts' attack which had four players in double figures led by Meghanne Hickey with 14 points.

The Bucs led 32-25 at the half and held a 50-42 lead with 11:45 remaining. But Nova rolled off 13 straight points to take a 55-50 lead at the 7:09 mark and never trailed.

Barry falls to 1-3 on the season, while Nova improves to 2-3. Alagic was named to the All-Tournament team along with Hickey from Nova, Kerri Rulison from Lynn and Sharon Baston from Voorhees. Lynn's Michele Newman was named the MVP.

Barry travels to the Disney Challenge in Kissimmee, Fla., on Nov. 28-29.
