Kate Kenny

Kate Kenny joined the strength and conditioning staff in the fall of 2024 as a graduate assistant. After graduating with her master's degree from Barry in human performance and kinesiology in December of 2025, she worked with the Miami Waves, starting their strength & conditioning program for their volleyball club, as well as Fisher Island Day School as the head strength coach. She returned to The Shores as the assistant director of strength & conditioning in the fall of 2026.

Kenny came from Florida International University where she spent the year working with their strength & conditioning department.She was responsible for the strength & conditioning programs for women’s golf and tennis during her time with the Panthers, during which FIU women's tennis won the Conference USA title in 2024.

She is the strength & conditioning coach for Barry’s women’s golf and beach volleyball teams. She will also bring her experience in athletic rehabilitation and will be working closely with return-to-play athletes.

Kenny graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with her Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science in the spring of 2024.
