Barry University Athletics

A veteran of the South Florida sports scene for over 25 years, Jamie Carrig began his career in Miami as an assistant basketball coach and sports information director at Miami-Dade Community College. He currently serves as senior associate director of athletics at Barry University.

In addition to his work at Barry University, he continues to work for on the game-day operations staff for the Miami Dolphins, the Miami Heat and the University of Miami.

A native of Little Falls, N.Y., Carrig lettered in football and baseball at Findlay University in Ohio where he graduated with a degree in psychology. He later earned a master's degree in sports management from the United States Sports Academy in Daphne, Ala.
