Haelee Angelico

Haelee Angelico, a recent graduate of Barry University, where she earned her bachelor's degree in exercise physiology with a minor in sport & exercise psychology, joined the strength & conditioning staff as a graduate assistant in the fall of 2026.

Angelico was a member of the Buccaneer softball team for five years. Her experience as a collegiate athlete provides a firsthand understanding of the dedication, discipline, and resilience required to perform at a high level. In addition to her athletic career, she completed an internship with Barry University athletics strength & conditioning, where she gained valuable experience working with athletes and developing evidence-based training programs designed to enhance performance.

As a former athlete, her passion for strength & conditioning comes from experiencing the impact that quality coaching can have on an athlete's development, confidence, and success. Her strength & conditioning philosophy is centered on helping athletes become stronger, faster, more resilient, and better prepared for the demands of their sport. Training should be purposeful, individualized, and focused on long-term athletic development while fostering a positive and motivating environment. Through science-based programming and strong coach-athlete relationships, she strives to help athletes maximize their potential both on and off the field. Her goal as a strength & conditioning coach is to give athletes the same support, guidance, and opportunities for growth that she received throughout her athletic journey.
