Amanda Traynor joined the campus recreation team from 2018-20 as the graduate assistant, overseeing the intramural and recreation programs for the department whilst pursuing her master’s degree.
Promoted to Coordinator of Intramural and Club Sports in 2020, she is responsible for running the campus recreation department, which includes: intramural sports, special events, and club sports.
A four-year member of the Barry University women’s soccer team. As a captain of the team, Amanda helped the Buccaneers win two Sunshine State Conference Championships, one Sunshine State Conference Tournament Championship, and made one appearance in the NCAA Regional.
In addition to her work at Barry University, Amanda continues to work in women’s soccer as a Football (Soccer) Consultant for an international women’s football agency. She represents female football players and helps them to sign professional football contracts with teams across the world.
Amanda earned a pair of degrees from Barry. She graduated in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a minor in sport management. She earned her master's degree in sport management in 2020.
