April Sicam joined the volleyball staff in July of 2018 as a volunteer assistant coach.

Sicam played for the Florida International University women’s indoor volleyball team in 2012.

Currently, she is the head coach at Tribe Volleyball Club, which will begin play in 2019. The Miami native also assists with both the boys and girls volleyball teams at Saint Brendan High School. In 2017, she was the head coach of the girls’ junior varsity team and led them to an undefeated season. Her coaching career began in 2013 with local club teams including VoleiMiami (2013-14) and Miami Volleyball Academy (2016-18).

She earned a bachelor’s degree in both Chemistry and Psychology from FIU in 2016. Currently, she is pursuing a Master’s Degree from Barry University in Sports Exercise and Performance Psychology.
