Xiyao Wang joined the women's tennis staff as a volunteer assistant in the spring of 2024.

She helped lead the Buccaneers to consecutive NCAA Division II National Championships in 2021, 2022, and 2023, as well as ITA Indoor Titles in 2020, 2022 and 2023. She went 36-4 in singles and 28-8 in double playing at most all flights, including #1.

Wang earned a dual master's degree in sport management and MBA from Barry in 2022 and is currently working on her doctorate in educational leadership.
