Anisa Secerovic

Anisa Secerovic is in her seventh season with the Buccaneers after completing a college career that brought her across the globe from Sarajevo, Bosnia.

Her playing career started at the Independence Community College in Kansas where she averaged 11.7 points per game her freshman year while shooting 41 percent from the three-point line. Injuries plagued her sophomore year, as she only participated in 19 games. Secerovic was also awarded the Sandy Miller Student-Athlete award for her outstanding performance both on the court and in the classroom, as she made deans lists both years at ICC.

In her two years as a Buccaneer, Secerovic shot 38 percent from the three-point line and averaged just about four points per game. She also dished out 21 assists and notched 15 steals for her team.

Secerovic graduated from Barry with a bachelor’s degree in business management and earned her master’s degree in sports managment.
