Eli Sirota joins the Buccaneer Athletic Communications staff as the assistant director of athletic communications in the fall of 2023 after serving at the University of Fort Lauderdale for the past year.Â
As the head of the UFTL athletics communication office, Sirota served as the primary media contact for all Eagles athletics and managed the UFTL social media platforms.
Sirota joined the Eagles after spending a year at Caldwell in New Jersey, where he oversaw the department's web streaming operations, graphics, and social media while assisting in athletics communication areas.Â
Before Caldwell, Sirota worked at Concordia College in New York, where he was the sports information director for three years. During his time at Concordia, Sirota enhanced the Clippers' social media presence with unique motion graphics and weekly video series highlighting the student-athletes and coaches, as well as being the primary contact for all 12 sports on campus.
Previously, he had worked for one year at Auburn University at Montgomery, one year at the University of New Orleans and one year at Brevard College.
Sirota graduated from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla., with a degree in sports management in 2014. During his tenure at Lynn, he served as a student assistant for the Knights' sports information department.
