Barry University Athletics

Ariel Schachter joined the softball program in the fall of 2025 as a volunteer assistant. Schachter played two years at Rhodes College in Tennessee and two at Brandeis University in Massachusetts.

Schachter played in 60 games across her four seasons, scoring 16 runs and driving in 10. She graduated from Brandeis magna cum laude in psychology and education in 2025.

Originally from Dallas, Texas, she has coached with the youth academies for both the Texas Rangers and Miami Marlins, for baseball and softball from the tee ball age group, all the way up to the 18U age group. Additionally, she coached club softball for the American Freedom Fastpitch Organization.

She is currently pursuing her master's at Barry in sport and performance psychology.
