FRESHMAN (2009-10): In the spring, defeated Eckerd’s Aaron Kleefield in his first career regular season collegiate match, 6-2, 6-4 … Beat Marco Castaneda from Northwood, 6-0, 6-1, to conclude his freshman singles campaign … Partnered with senior David Barragan in both his doubles matches, defeating Saint Leo’s Tim Balz-Herrmann and Michael Calloway, 8-1, and Eckerd’s Aaron Kleefield and James Walker, 8-6 ... In the fall, advanced to the second round in singles of the 2009 Wilson/ITA Regional Championships … Played in the ITA South Regional consolation bracket, advancing to the second round.
