Michael Reyes joined the men's soccer staff in the fall of 2022, after a lengthy playing career.

Reyes was an All-Conference and All-Region performer for East Central College in 2004-05, leading the Falcons to the conference title in 2005.

After transferring to Oakland University, he led the Grizzlies to the regular season and tournament titles for The Summit League, earning First-Team All-Summit and Tournament MVP. The Grizzlies advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

Reyes continued his career with Club Deportivo River Plate Ponce in the Puerto Rican Soccer League. He scored 13 goals, as the River advanced to the finals. He last played with Miami FC in 2010.

While with the River, he served as a volunteer coach at his alma mater, Oakland, where he earned his bachelor's degree in communications in 2007.

He started his own college prep soccer program called College Dreamers in 2017 and has been coaching ever since, placing over 40 players in college programs.
