Aday Gonzalez joins the men's soccer staff in the fall of 2021 as a volunteer assistant after an outstanding career as a player with the Bucs.

Gonzalez played two seasons with the Bucs after transferring from Florida National. He appeared in 35 games, starting 33. He scored three goals, with two of them being game-winners, and added seven assists. He helped lead the Bus to the 2018 NCAA Division II National Championship, with a goal and seven assists. His one tally was the game-winner against Auburn-Montgomery.

He graduated magna cum laude with a degree in exercise science from Barry in 2018.

He coached youth soccer with the Miami Caymans from 2016-18, leading training sessions and integrating activities between parents and soccer players. He has served as the strength & conditioning coach for Miami Sun FC since 2018 and has worked at Grusky Center as the rehabilitation area coordinator.
