JUNIOR (2009): Played in all 21 games, starting 19 ... Split time between the midfield and defense ... Averaged 81.3 minutes per game ... Started the season on the defense and helped lead Barry to shutouts over Georgia Southwestern (Aug. 27) and Flagler (Sept. 6) ... Moved into the midfield and had a goal or assist in six straight games from Sept. 22 to Oct. 9 as the Bucs went 5-1 ... Ranked four on the team with six assists and fifth with 12 points ... Assisted on game-winner against Nova Southeastern (Sept. 22), Florida Southern (Oct. 3) and St. Thomas (Oct. 9) ... Had two assists on Oct. 17 in 3-1 win over Saint Leo.

SOPHOMORE (2008): Started in all 17 games ... Ranked 4th on the team in minutes played with 1338 ... Scored two goals with five assists ... Ranked 7th on the team in total points with nine.

FRESHMEN (2007): Started twice in six appearances ... Earned a .750 shot-on-goal percentage ... Named to SSC Commissioner’s Fall Honor Roll ... Named to Athletic Director’s Honor List.

HIGH SCHOOL & CLUB: Started two years for coach Scott Nelson at Coral Gables High ... Led the Cavaliers to the district title ... Scored 10 goals and added 12 assists ... Scored the game-winning goal in the 2-1 regional semifinal victory over Killian ... Won the state cup with Kendall Soccer Coalition in 2007 and advanced to the regional finals.

PERSONAL: Son of Edgardo and Evangeline Perez ... Older sister Lynn played soccer at Flagler College where she was team MVP in 2001 and an NAIA All-American in 2002-03 ... Majoring in exercise science.
