Tyler Field

Tyler Field started his second stint with the Buccaneers in 2020-21. He previously served from 2016-18. He is responsible for player development, on-court coaching and administrative duties.

Barry went 2-5 in the abbreviated season in 2020-21. Jake Kakar and Justinas Marcinkevicius were both named second-team All-Sunshine State Conference.

In 2017-18, the Buccaneers went 23-9 with a trip to the NCAA Division II Elite Eight. Barry won the South Region and Sunshine State Conference regular season titles, and earned its fifth straight trip to the national tournament. Elvar Fridriksson earned three All-America honors, was named the South Region Tournament Most Outstanding Player and the SSC Player of the Year for the second consecutive season.

Field helped coach the Buccaneers to a 23-7 season, which ended in the second round of the national tournament n 2016-17. The Bucs won the Sunshine State Conference regular season title, going 13-5 in league play. Adrian Gonzalez and Fridriksson were both named Honorable Mention All-Americans by the Division II Bulletin. Fridriksson was selected as the SSC's Player of the Year.

Following a college playing career, Field played 14 years in Argentina with stops in Brazil, Uruguay, Chile and France. He made an Import All-Star appearance in 2006. In 2011, his team won the Ligas de Las Americas Championship in Latin America. A year later, his club won the Liga Sud Americana title in South America.

Field was an honorable mention All-West Coast Conference selection as a junior and senior at the University of San Diego. As a freshman at the University of California San Diego, he was named the NCAA Division III Freshman of the Year. 

Field earned his bachelor's degree in business economics from the University of San Diego in 2001. He is divorced and resides in Hollywood with his three children, Coral, Royce and Levin.
