Reggie Chambers was named an assistant coach with the men's basketball program in 2016. He is responsible for player development, on-court coaching and administrative duties.
Chambers spent the 2015-16 season on Delta State's coaching staff. In 2014-15, he coached at Liberty. In 2013-14, he coached at Central Wyoming.
As a player, Chambers led the conference in assists as a junior at West Virginia Wesleyan. He was third in the league as a senior. Both years, he finished in the top 10 in the country. In both seasons, his team advanced to the national tournament.
Chambers spent his freshman and sophomore seasons at Florida Gulf Coast. He was named to the Atlantic Sun All-Freshman Team.
After college, he played professionally for one season in Uruguay.
Chambers earned his bachelor's degree in criminal justice from West Virginia Wesleyan in 2012.Â
