2012: Appeared in seven games as a reliever before becoming a member of the starting rotation for the final seven weeks of the year ... Struck out the first hitter he faced looking (Feb. 26) ... Claimed his first win against Liberty (Apr. 1) ... Went 2-5 mostly due to a lack of run support ... Posted a quality start against No. 9 Rice, holding the Owls to two runs on seven hits over six innings (Apr. 15) ... Gave up two earned runs on six hits in 3 1/3 innings vs. No. 13 UCF (May 11) ... Closed out the season with a win against Tulane, where he and fellow freshman Joe McGillicuddy combined for a shutout (May 19).
