Dwelly is the returning starter in centerfield and will be in center when the season starts. Dwelly is not only a threat wtih the bat but also as a base-stealer. Drew projects as the Bucs 2-hole hitter.

JUNIOR (2010): Belted a team-leading two triples… Started in 44-45 games played with a .366 batting average… led the team in stolen bases with 18 on 22 attempts… Ranks 8th all time for highest stolen base percentage at .808… Was mere feet from hitting from the cycle on March 30 against Palm Beach Atlantic after belting a double in his first at bat, ripping a single to right in the second inning, then in the four Dwelly shot a ball off the top part of the batters eye in center field for another double, and adding a triple in the sixth… Dwelly went 5-5 with three RBIs in that game against Palm Beach Atlantic… Totaled 18 multi-hit games and six multi-RBI games… Played for the New Bedford Bay Sox in the New England Collegiate League over the summer… Played in 35 games with 137 at bats and a .270 batting average.

SOPHOMORE (2009): Played in 36 games with 10 starts ... Hit .222 for the season with one home run and two doubles ... Earned five runs for the Bucs ... Posted a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.

PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Played in 15 games for Franklin Pierce during the 2007 season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for John Seed and New Bedford High ... Won a total of five letters, two in baseball, two in football and one in basketball.

PERSONAL: Son of David and Donna Dwelly ... Has one older brother, David, Jr. ... Physical education major.
