Barry University Athletics

Prior to coming to Barry, Mendoza was the head coach of Miami Springs Senior High School baseball team during the 2016 season. At the same time, Mendoza had been the head coach and college placement specialist at Miami Showtime Baseball in Miami. During his time there, he served as the recruiting director, and advised athletes on decisions about furthering their education as well as playing college ball.

Mendoza was the head coach at Miami Jackson Senior High School from 2011-13, and head coach of St. Agatha Catholic School’s baseball program from 2009-12.

Mendoza served as an assistant coach at St. Brendan High School in Miami from 2013-15, and at Miami Jackson from 2010-11.

Mendoza earned his associates degree in business management from ASA College in 2016.
