Dominic Murgo, III joined the Barry baseball staff in the fall of 2024 after pitching for the team in the spring.

Murgo was one of the team's top hurlers in 2024, leading the team with 24 appearances, all in relief and totaling 62.1 innings, third on the team. He led the team with a 3.18 ERA and 6-1 record. He struck out 38 and walked 17, while holding the opponents to a .247 average.

Murgo previously was on the teams at West Georgia, Shorter and Post. He tossed 33.2 innings, with 25 strikeouts and a 5.35 ERA.

Aftre graduating from West Georgia with honors, he enrolled in Barry's dual master's program for sport management and MBA.
