Women's NCAA Championships

Though only competing since 1984, the Buccaneers have enjoyed great success in women's athletics. The Bucs have captured 12 Women's NCAA Division II National Championships, with five of the Bucs' seven sports ascending to the heights.

After winning two more women's titles (tennis and golf) in 2017, the Bucs rank tied for fifth among all NCAA Division II Schools in women's national championships.

1993: Buccaneers Win Back-to-Back National Soccer Championships

MIAMI SHORES, Fla.--The Barry University women's soccer team continued its national dominance in 1993, winning its second consecutive NCAA Division II National Championship. It was Barry's third title in five years and its sixth straight trip to the NCAA Final Four.

2001: Volleyball Brings Home Division II Title

GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan -- For the second time in school history, Barry University was crowned the NCAA Division II National Champions after trouncing the South Dakota State Jackrabbits 3-0 in the final match and ending the 2001 season with a 21-game win streak.

2004: Volleyball Wins Third National Title

MIAMI SHORES, Fla.- The Barry Buccaneers rallied from a game-one loss to defeat Truman State University 25-30, 30-21, 30-25, 30-24 to win the 2004 NCAA Division II Volleyball national championship in the Health & Sports Center at Barry University.

2011: WOMEN'S TENNIS WINS NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla.-A sixteen-hour delay wasn't enough to deter the Barry University women's tennis team from winning their first-ever national championship over the Lynn University Knights on Sunday afternoon. Though play was stopped on Saturday afternoon, the Bucs came out with force on Sunday morning and took one doubles match and four singles matches to win the school's ninth national championship since 1989.

2014: Women's Tennis Wins National Championship

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - For Barry University women's tennis team, it doesn't get any better than this.

No. 1 Barry beat No. 2 Armstrong Atlantic, 5-4, in the NCAA Division II Championship match at Sanlando Park Saturday. It was the Buccaneers' second national title in the program's history, and the school's 12th overall.

2015: Crowned in California: Rowing Wins NCAA National Championship

GOLD RIVER, Calif. -- Barry University rowing entered the 2015 season with one mission: to win a national championship.

Mission accomplished. In their ninth trip to the NCAA Division II Championships, the Buccaneers won their first national championship in program history Sunday. It marks the university's 15th national title overall.

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. - Barry University's No. 2-ranked women's tennis team beat No. 3 Lynn, 5-0, Saturday at Sanlando Park to win the NCAA Division II National Championship in dominating fashion. It is the program's third national title and second in four years at the same venue.

FINDLAY, Ohio -- The No. 1-ranked Buccaneers overcame a two-stroke deficit in the final three holes to win the NCAA Division II National Championship by a stroke over No. 2 Dallas Baptist Saturday at the par-72, 6,206-yard Findlay Country Club.
