FRESHMAN (2007-08): Advanced to the second round of the ITA Regional after beating Bill Rockwood of Rollins, 4-6, 6-4, (7-3) ... Went undefeated in the spring season posting a 6-0 record ... Went 3-0 in doubles with partners David Barragan and Christophe Gayer.
HIGH SCHOOL: Played for Mark Dalzell at the IMG Academy ... Ranked #2 in Venezuela U-16 ... Competed in various ITF events overseas.
PERSONAL: Son of Hector and Ennia D’Armas ... Has one sister, Shilla who played for the FIU women’s tennis team from 2003-07 ... Majoring in communications.
